Kota Kinabalu: The Kinabatangan seat will see a straight fight between Barisan Nasional’s Bung Moktar Radin and Warisan’s Mazliwati Abdul Malek Chua.

Warisan was supposed to field Ismail Ayub as its candidate but due to a technical error, Mazliwati, an MA63 activist and Warisan Supreme Council member, was selected instead.

According to Mazliwati, the Election Commission rejected Ismail’s nomination papers as he had failed to disclose his expenses in the last election.
