Mahathir on chances of teaming up with Warisan
Mahathir said many of Warisan’s former elected representatives have left Warisan. So what can Warisan do… nothing.
ON whether he sees the possibility of GTA working with either Parti Warisan, Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) or Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) to form the Federal Government after GE15, Dr Mahathir said he did not know about Warisan as it does not even have enough candidates.“Warisan is very new. And it is not known in the peninsula. It is known as a Sabah party. Even in Sabah it has lost its spot. Many of Warisan’s former elected representatives have left Warisan. So what can Warisan do… nothing.

“We stress a lot on quality, we want people who are not facing any legal action, who are not corrupt, who are not bankrupt, all these things. We have good quality people in GTA…we reject anybody who has a problem with the courts,” he said.

On GPS, he said well, he will find out if GPS wants to join them in GTA.  “When we find they are not working with other political parties then they may join us,” he said.
