Kota Kinabalu: More than a hundred flags, posters and banners of Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) Kota Kinabalu candidate Yee Tsai Yiew have been vandalised.

Most of the campaign materials were torn with flags broken and posters defaced. Yee expressed sadness at the incident and felt it was an act of treachery.

“I feel very disappointed by the actions of this irresponsible person. However, I consider it as a challenge when campaigning and this does not in the least discourage me and the party machinery to continue campaigning in the 15th General Elections (GE-15).

“We have to be mature in politics and so I let the authorities take the follow-up action,” she said.
