Elderly man killed in Lahad Datu fire

LAHAD DATU: An elderly man perished in a fire that destroyed 10 squatter houses in Kampung Puyut, Lahad Datu, today.

The early morning fire also destroyed four vehicles, said the fire department.

The 66-year-old unidentified man's charred body was found in the water under his home.

Twenty firefighters managed to put the fire out.
