Dengue cases: Department having a tough time
Dr Rose hoped people would be more proactive in keeping their surroundings clean and rid their premises of mosquito breeding grounds to help health authorities in the fight against dengue.
Kota Kinabalu: Health authorities in the State are having a tough time to bring down dengue cases due to poor public participation.

Sabah Health Department Director Datuk Dr Rose Nani Mudin said the Department has been carrying out various programmes and initiatives to bring the number down but unable to do so yet.

She said poor public participation in keeping the environment clean and free from aedes mosquito breeding containers or places was the main factor in not bringing down dengue cases.
