266 Sabah cases and two deaths
Masidi said 261 out of 266 cases were category one and two infections , three in category four while one case was each recorded in category three and five. 
Kota Kinabalu: Sabah recorded 266 Covid-19 cases on Thursday, a spike from 221 the day earlier, with Kota Kinabalu accounting for half of the caseload.

Two deaths were recorded, one each in Beaufort and Kota Kinabalu.

Sabah’s Covid-19 spokesperson Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun said the spike was due to an increased positivity rate of 15.68 per cent, compared to 11.97 per cent the day earlier. 1,696 test samples were collected.

Kota Kinabalu topped the list with 117 cases, followed by Tuaran (34), Lahad Datu (31), Papar (19), Sandakan (13) and Tawau (10).

“Eleven districts did not record new infections,” he said in a statement, Thursday.
