Kota Kinabalu: Two men died of electrocution while fixing a streetlight at Apartment Bukit Melingsung in Papar today.

The 54 and 61-year-olds were confirmed dead at the scene in the 8am incident, according to the Fire and Rescue Department.

A third man was reported to have been unscathed.

The rescuers extricated the bodies from the scene after the Sabah Electricity Sdn Bhd cut off power to the lamppost.
