Kota Kinabalu: Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Haji Noor said the State’s prospects in the oil and gas industry are progressing positively and expected to bring higher returns in line with its efforts to explore potential in natural gas industry chain.“This will provide better economic returns, thus enabling the State to achieve not only greater revenue sharing but also greater participation and say in oil and gas-related matters through joint collaborations between Petronas and State Government-Linked Companies.
“To date, the State Government received additional revenue of RM202 million with the increase of equity holding to 10 per cent in Petronas Sdn Bhd.
