Kota Kinabalu: There are currently 16 public educational institutions in Sabah, said Special Tasks and Coordination Assistant Minister Datuk Fairuz Renddan.These are Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) Kota Kinabalu Campus, UMS Tawau Campus, UMS Labuan Campus, Uinversiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) Kota Kinabalu Campus, UiTM Tawau Campus, Tawau Community College, Semporna Community College, Lahad Datu Community College, Sandakan Community College, Tambunan Community College, Beaufort Community College, Penampang Community College, Kota Marudu Community College, Kota Kinabalu Polytechnic, Tawau Polytechnic and Sandakan Polytechnic.
