“When a suitable location has been identified, my Ministry in collaboration with the Keningau District Council will submit an application for a new PPR development proposal to the Federal KPKT,” he said during question time.
He was responding to Liawan Assemblyman Datuk Annuar Ayuub who asked if the State Government was planning to build new PPR housing to address squatter issues in Keningau.
Isnin assured that a screening would be done to ensure that only applications from those eligible will be considered for the new PPR unit in the future.
He added that to date, there are 300 PPR units in Keningau, known as Taman Anggerik PPR.
