Two Sabah MPs in new Federal Cabinet

KOTA KINABALU: Two Members of Parliament from Sabah, Datuk Ewon Benedick (Penampang MP) and Datuk Armizan Ali (Papar MP) have been appointed as full ministers in the new Federal Cabinet announced by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, Friday.

Ewon who is also Upko president-designate has been appointed as the Entrepreneurship and Cooperative Minister while Armizan who formerly served as the Senior Private Secretary to the Chief Minister is appointed the Minister in Prime Minister's Department (In charge of Sabah and Sarawak affairs).

Ewon won the Penampang seat under Pakatan Harapan (PH) and Armizan, who contested under Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS), won the Papar seat in the 15th General Election (GE15).
