Kota Kinabalu: The fact that the Philippines’ Solicitor-General himself admitted that the Sulu case is “complicated” reconfirms that the Philippines does not have any valid claim to Sabah, said former Sabah Chief Minister Datuk Seri Yong Teck Lee.Referring to Daily Express’ front-page report “Sulu case complicated” on Monday, Yong said the Philippine government, as reported, is still trying to “revalidate” their report on the Sulu case.
“This is because the Philippine government has failed to establish a viable case to claim Sabah either directly or through the so-called heirs of the defunct sultanate of Sulu.
