Kota Kinabalu: Sabah is the first East Malaysian state to benefit from the fifth generation mobile network (5G) but connectivity is currently limited to about a one-kilometre radius in the city.

Additionally, only Android mobile phone users may benefit from the high speed internet for the time being.

“It’s a firmware issue regarding Apple’s IPhone operating software but we are working on an update,” a Digital Nasional Berhad (DNB) spokesperson said.
