Kota Kinabalu: A herd of elephants thronged into Kg Luasong in the Luasong Forestry Centre, Tawau, frightening residents on Thursday morning, although no human casualties were reported.

The Wildlife Department said their personnel are in Luasong to investigate the viral incident, in which an elephant is seen in the clip tipping a motorcycle flat onto ground with its trunk.

Residents are heard in the recording screaming trying to drive the elephants away.

Some netizens said the elephants came to the village  looking for food after their habitat was disturbed by development.
