Kota Kinabalu: Sabah’s Covid-19 caseload increased to 37 on Tuesday after recording just 16 cases the day earlier.
Sabah’s Covid-19 spokesperson Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun said the increase in cases corresponded to a higher positivity rate, which was 4.71 per cent on Tuesday compared to 1.76 per cent on Monday. 785 test samples were collected.
Kota Kinabalu topped the list with 9 cases, followed by Papar (5), Tuaran (5), Lahad Datu (3), Penampang (3), Sandakan (3), Kota Belud (2), Kota Marudu (2) and Tawau (2).
“Fifteen districts did not record any new infections,” said Masidi in a statement, Tuesday.
He said 36 out of 37 cases were category one and two infections while one case was in category three.
No deaths or new clusters were identified.
