KOTA KINABALU: The Agriculture and Fisheries Ministry has assured that the supply of food and necessities in the State will be sufficient throughout the festive season until Chinese New Year 2023.

Its Minister, Datuk Seri Dr Jeffrey G Kitingan said the Ministry is committed to ensuring a stable and sufficient food supply throughout the festive season.

“Initial steps have been taken by the Ministry to ensure that there will be no lack of supply and basic food supplies such as eggs, meat, chicken, fish, fruits and vegetables are stable and sufficient,” said Jeffrey who is also Deputy Chief Minister in a statement, Thursday.
