Kota Kinabalu: The Philippines and Indonesia, including Malaysia, seek to intensify sea border patrol activities at the Celebes Sea next year.

This came after two Filipino fishermen recovered 2.2-pound cocaine bars packed in watertight plastic off Tawi-Tawi's South Ubian town in southern Philippines, just 137 nautical miles from Sabah.

The fishermen, identified only as Alih and Sabri Iskan, turned over the cocaine to their village chieftain who handed it to the local police.
