Nine states including Sabah to experience thunderstorm
The National Disaster Management Agency says thunderstorms are forecast for Sarawak and Sabah and a number of states in the peninsula later today.
PETALING JAYA: Nine states will be affected by thunderstorms this evening, the National Disaster Management Agency (Nadma) warned.

They are Pahang, Selangor, Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya, Negeri Sembilan, Melaka, Johor, Sarawak and Sabah.

In Sarawak, Kuching, Samarahan, Sarikei, Sibu and Mukah will experience thunderstorms, while the affected areas in Sabah are the interior, west coast, Sandakan, Kudat and Labuan.

In the evening, Perak, Selangor, Negeri Sembilan, Melaka and Johor, as well as Miri and Limbang in Sarawak will see rainfall.

The weather forecast for tomorrow shows thunderstorms affecting Pahang, Selangor, Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya and Negeri Sembilan in the peninsula, and the west coast of Sabah and Kudat.

According to Nadma, there were 62 flood victims in Perak, 718 in Kelantan, 1,589 in Sabah and 148 in Sarawak as of 6am today.
