Kota Kinabalu: Sabah’s Para-athletes stole the limelight in 2022 with their outstanding performance delivered on the national and international stage.The return of the Para-Malaysian Games (Para-Sukma) in November saw Sabah dethrone defending champions Sarawak to claim the overall title for the first time in the Games’ history.
Sabah’s total haul of 54 gold, 35 silver and 35 bronze medals ended Sarawak’s 13 consecutive titles winning run since the Games was held in Johor in 1994.
