Kota Kinabalu: China is slated to become Sabah’s largest trading partner and source of investment with the reopening of its borders on Jan 8, said Sabah Economic Advisory Council (SEAC) Chairman Tan Sri David Chu.As such, the Council echoed Tourism Minister Datuk Tiong King Sing’s call against negative comments towards Chinese tourists visiting Malaysia so as not to hurt existing Malaysia-China relations.
“With the expected return of Chinese tourists, SEAC urges all tourism stakeholders to endeavour their best to give a warm welcome back to the Chinese tourists for several reasons.
