SUCCC says autonomy over projects below RM50m historical
Liew said the decision in giving full mandate to the Sabah and Sarawak governments to handle  projects worth up to RM50 million is a long-awaited privilege for both states that could now identify and decide which development projects that need to be prioritised and implemented for the people.
Kota Kinabalu: The Sabah United Chinese Chamber of Commerce (SUCCC) described the announcement by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim to give full mandate to the Sabah and Sarawak governments to approve development projects below RM50 million as historical.

Its President Tan Sri Andrew Liew Sui Fatt said SUCCC thanked Anwar for the good news not only for contractors but also to the people of both states to enjoy many development programmes that could be implemented without hassle.
