Kota Kinabalu: The special State Assembly sitting tomorrow (Tuesday) will only be focusing on two national energy production enactments and their devolutions in line with the Malaysia Agreement 1963, said Sabah Finance Minister II Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun.

He was met by reporters during a break at a meeting with all assemblymen under Sabah Chief Minister Datuk Hajiji Noor’s camp at Sri Gaya, his official residence, here, on Monday.

“We decided today is our off-day from politics. A politician’s job is not just politicking but first and foremost being responsible as the people’s elect,” Masidi said.

“We are just discussing coordinations as to who will be speaking tomorrow. I’m even wearing office attire as a symbol of service to them (the people).”

He dismissed claims of a cabinet reshuffle, saying: “We will surely announce  it when the time is right. It's 4pm now, and the sitting is at 10 am tomorrow.”

The meeting took place amid speculations that a new state government is in the works following an attempt to oust Hajiji although the chief minister insisted he still had the support from majority-assemblymen to helm the current administration.
