SANDAKAN: A total of 25 lion dance teams in the district received a donation of lion heads from the Sabah State government in conjunction with this year’s Chinese New Year celebrations.The programme which took place at the Che Siang Khor Moral Uplifting Society Temple at Jalan Buli Sim-Sim, here, recently was carried out by the Political Secretary of the Sabah Chief Minister’s Department, Datuk Roland Chia Ming Shen with other guests of honour.
Among the guests were Sandakan Member of Parliament, Vivian Wong Shir Yee, and Organising Chairman who is also Sabah DAP Welfare Social Bureau Head, Liau Fui Fui, who represented Tanjung Papat Assemblyman Datuk Frankie Poon Ming Fung.
