Kota Kinabalu: Public can now surf or browse an official website of the Energy Commission of Sabah (ECoS), which took effect Tuesday, following its launching at the State Legislative Assembly here on the same day the Bill to set up the commission was passed.ECoS Chief Executive Officer Datuk Ir. Abdul Nasser Abdul Wahid said Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Haji Noor launched the website and online services to facilitate applications related to licences, certificates and other matters that require ECoS approval.
He said the approval was important for Sabah’s onshore gas industry to be more effective with the advantage of local landscape knowledge and in line with Sabah’s development direction and planning.
