KIULU: The youth of today have much to gain from observing the leadership of Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor, who has maintained his composure and firmness in the face of recent political upheaval.

State Assistant Tourism, Culture, and Environment Minister Datuk Joniston Bangkuai remarked that Hajiji has demonstrated his leadership traits by overcoming attempts by political figures to destabilise the State Government while uniting other leaders of various political backgrounds in a time of crisis.

“Sabah requires a leader who will not sow discord but will instead work to establish and sustain stability for the good of all. Although Hajiji may come out as a reserved Chief Minister, his actions and ability to serve speak volumes.

“The young people have a lot of leaders to look up to and our youth can take away some valuable lessons from Hajiji’s leadership style who always has the interest of the people and State at heart,” he said at the 2.0 Sabah Maju Jaya Youth Outreach Programme here Sunday.
