“Corruption is a very serious and shameful crime and I will not hesitate to take action against anyone involved in this activity, whether it is the giver or the taker,” he said during the Drug and Anti-Corruption Pledge Renewal Ceremony for the year 2023 held at the IPD Beaufort Multipurpose Hall recently.
“The communities trust the police who must carry out their duties with integrity, full responsibility, honesty and trust.
“At the same time, all officers and police members must be determined to fight drug abuse without compromise, “ he said.
Yussof Zaki said because drug was one of the main enemy of the country and it needed to be eradicated completely and the police couldn't be lenient in their fight.
The district would be peaceful if there were no drug dealers and addicts, there would be peace in the community and crimes cases would also decrease, he said.
