Policies by previous govts will go on if not 'plagued by major issues', says Anwar
This is because pulling the plug on certain policies will lead to disruptions, Anwar says.
PETALING JAYA: Policies implemented by previous administrations will be continued if they are not plagued by “major issues”, Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim said.

This is because pulling the plug on certain policies will lead to disruptions, he said.

“As a general rule, previous announcements should be honoured although we might have some reservations. Otherwise, it will cause a lot of disruptions,” he said at a forum in Brunei Darussalam yesterday.

However, Anwar said policies that contained “serious flaws” would be reviewed.
