TAWAU: Police are searching for a woman motorcycle rider who fled after fatally hitting an elderly pedestrian in Tawau today.

Police said the yellow motorcycle rider had run away in a white Axia, citing an eyewitness, another motorcyclist. 

The 69-year-old woman was reported to have died at the scene in the case under Section 41 (1) of the Road Transport Act 1987 for causing death by reckless driving.
