Kota Kinabalu: The Tuaran and Kota Kinabalu District Information Offices (PPD) received the Special Award for General Reaction Report (Best District) from the Sabah Information Department (JaPen).

PPD Tuaran managed to get a general reaction from 2,549 respondents while 2,511 respondents voted for PPD Kota Kinabalu.

Meanwhile, the Special Appreciation Award (Kinabalu Journalism Award Merit Recipient 2022) was won by Information Assistant, Idris Sani Saberun and Photographer, Jeffren Malaning while Information Assistant, Leonard Desmond from Tambunan PPD and Mazlan Bakar (Nabawan PPD) received the Issue Monitoring Report Special Award (Best Individual Reporter).

The awards were presented by Sabah Information Director, Jainisah Mohd Noor, during the monthly assembly which was attended by 250 Sabah JaPen employees in the lobby of the Integrated Complex of the Ministry of Communications and Digital, on Tuesday.

Also taking place, the MyCuepacsCare briefing delivered by its marketing representative, Ebben Fachrizan Mohd Zen, and JaPen Sabah Management Meeting chaired by Jainisah to discuss issues and obtain reports on current developments.

Also present were Deputy Director of Sabah Information, Supian Musa, Chief Assistant Director (KPP) Communication and Community Development Services, Azman Sipan, KPP Management and Financial Services, Nur Diyana Ujit, KPP Media and Corporate Communications Division, Peter Tong, KPP Cyber Media Division, Geraldine Voo Yee Wen and KPP Public Relations Division, Zamri Abd Ghani.
