Flash floods hit several KK, Penampang areas

Kota Kinabalu: Heavy rain since 2pm today has caused flash flooding in several areas here and in Penampang, according to a report. 

Among the Kota Kinabalu areas inundated in water are Telipok, Inanam, Likas, Sepanggar, Indah Permai, Kolombong and Lido and Kepayan, Deasoka reported.

In Penampang, flash flooding occurred at Jalan Kibabaig, Jalan Penampang Lama, Jalan Kolopis and the surrounding areas. 

However, no flood shelters have been opened so far.

The West Coast and Sandakan encompassing Telupid and Sandakan are also affected apart from Labuan until 7pm.
