Kota Kinabalu: Sabah Football Association (Safa) will be holding its annual congress to elect new office bearers for the 2023-2027 term on March 11.

Safa secretary general Dato’ Jelani Hamdan in a statement on Wednesday said that the date was set following the executive committee meeting held at the Sabah International Convention Centre (SICC) chaired by deputy president Datuk Juil Nuatim on Tuesday evening.

Meanwhile, Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Shahelmey Yahya is understood to have volunteered to lead the State body temporarily following the resignation of Datuk Seri Bung Moktar Radin early last month.
