Festival showcases Sabah’s unique ethnic cuisines

Kota Kinabalu: The “Kota Kinabalu Makan-Makan Festival” here is not only a haven for food lovers, but a place to learn about the unique cuisines of Sabah’s ethnic heritage.Organised by City Hall (DBKK) to mark the city’s 23rd anniversary, the three-day programme from Feb 3 features traditional cuisines and village dishes alongside western and viral food.

Located within the city centre, the festival stretches from the Chong Thien Vun Park all the way to Lintasan Deasoka with nearly 90 food stalls and food trucks set up as well as busking performances.
