Filipino drowns after jumping into seawater to evade police in Sandakan

Kota Kinabalu: A Filipino who had jumped into the sea to evade police in Sandakan was found drowned last night, it has been reported. 

The 18-year-old, who earlier had a fight with a friend, jumped into the water at Kg Pukat Pasir Putih when police were looking for him, Deasoka reported.

He was found dead floating not far from where he had jumped. 

His body was handed over to police for further action.
