SIPITANG: Incumbent Sipitang Umno Chief Datuk Kamarlin Ombi will defend his post in the party’s coming elections expected to be held on March 18.The former Sipitang assemblyman said his stance to defend the post was because he wanted to continue serving the party that faced various challenges following its defeat in the 14th General Election.
“The old leadership should not be cast out because of their extensive experience which the party still needs, in addition to accepting the presence of young leaders,” he said.
