Reviewing Sabah’s agriculture policy
The ongoing global conflict is worsening food inflation.
FOOD security concerns have recently emerged on our political agenda due to the global supply crisis and its repercussions on the high prices of commodities such as maize and wheat.The ongoing global conflict is worsening food inflation, leading to food prices increasing to 7.3pc in November 2022, after 7.1pc rise in the prior month.

Farmers are facing a tough position due to growing input costs, which might result in a decrease of productivity and higher prices for production.
