Kota Kinabalu: Parti Bersatu Rakyat Sabah (PBRS), President Datuk Arthur Joseph Kurup described the 2023 Budget presented by the Prime Minister as reflecting the concern of the Unity Government in ensuring that no one is left out from enjoying government assistance and services even when the country is facing economic challenges.

While supporting Malaysia Madani’s budget initiatives, he said the approach taken to structure taxes so as to channel more assistance and tax relief to the low and middle income groups.

“Through this mechanism, the T20 group will experience an increase in tax rates while the M40 group will enjoy a tax cut,” he said.
