Kota Kinabalu: The State Tourism, Culture and Environment Ministry aspires to tap into the American, Australian and Indian travel market in addition to the existing European market.“We traditionally look into the European market, London and Germany, but this year, we are intending to look into Los Angeles, Australia and India, which is fast becoming an important tourist market,” said its Minister Datuk Christina Liew.
Christina said there will be a lot of things to do, including aiming to develop Sabah’s tourism business and bringing in more tourists, during her official one-week visit to Germany and London next week.
