Kota Kinabalu: State bowler Nur Jeehan Iezzaty Suffian has been included in the National Youth Bowling team and will report for duty at Bukit Jalil on March 12.

Sabah Tenpin Bowling Association President Rozzainny Sham Talip said she was selected by the national body based on her achievement last year.

She won gold in the Sportexcel tournaments in Sabah and Sarawak as well as in the Grand Final held in Selangor in addition winning a bronze in the national level inter-state tenpin bowling tournament.

Nur Jeehan expressed her thanks to the State association, Sabah Sports Council and her parents for their support and vowed to do her best.

Meanwhile, she also received an incentive from the State body presented by deputy president Aisyah Abdullah at a brief ceremony held recently.
