SANDAKAN: About 90 stilt homes were razed by fire but no human casualties were reported at Kg Cenderamata, Batu Sapi, here, early today. 

The fire department said they managed to bring the fire under control despite challenges such as the low water pressure and homes located close to each other. 

There were more than 100 homes in the water village, the department said, and they didn't get to use the seawater to fight the fire with as low tide had set in.
