SANDAKAN: Sabah Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor has set up a special professional team of experts to solve the salty water supply problem in Sandakan, said an assembylman.
Karamunting assemblyman George Hiew Vun Zin said that he met with Hajiji on Monday morning to voice out the problem, and Hajiji promised to take immediate action.
“It was my first task (after joining Parti Gagasan Rakyat Sabah) when meeting with Hajiji; to tell him about the salty water supply in Sandakan that has affected the people for three months.
"Datuk Seri Hajiji gave assurance that he will solve the problem as soon as possible,” Hiew said in a statement, here, Monday.
