KUCHING: Sarawak Public Works Department (JKR) has a maintenance office inside the Borneo Cultures Museum in full notice of the visiting public, to ensure that building maintenance is always prioritized for public safety.Unlike Sabah where the relevant minister had to tell Sabah Museum to get its roofs repaired after pictures of gaps in ceiling were posted in social media.
State Tourism, Culture and Environment Minister Datuk Christina Liew recently urged the Public Works Department (JKR) to speed up on repairing the structural damage on the roof facing the gallery door in the main building of the Department of Sabah Museum.
