Kota Kinabalu: Printers and publishers are advised to follow the guidelines on manuscripts issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs (KDN).

KDN Secretary-General Datuk Ruji Ubi said the manuscript could correct the reading of the Quran and make it easier especially in reading because it had waqaf signs.

“Through this mushaf, the KDN shows the signs of waqaf that are coloured which indicate where we should stop and we repeat in the next recitation of the Quran which will help us read smoothly.

“In addition, reading signs like that also help our reading so that we don’t lose the meaning of the Al-Quran verses and reduce the mistakes that happened previously without us realising it.

Cosmobeauté Malaysia and beautyexpo will expand into East Malaysia with the launch of the Cosmobeauté Malaysia Borneo Festival 2026 at the Sabah International Convention Centre (SICC) from May 25 to 26.
“Therefore, I request  publishers who have a printing licence out there to follow what we outline in this Al-Quran manuscript,” he said when met by the media after paying a courtesy visit to Head of State Tun Juhar Mahiruddin at Istana Seri Kinabalu on Thursday.

According to Ruji, the courtesy visit conveyed the content of the mushaf to State dignitaries since they were religious leaders and also distributed copies of the mushaf to 2,000 selected mosques and suraus throughout the country.
