Reject Islamophobia, acts of violence, says Anwar
Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim says Malaysia is ready to cooperate constructively and collectively with the world community to combat Islamophobia and all acts of hatred.
Kuala Lumpur: Islamophobia and all acts of hatred or violence against individuals based on religion or belief must be rejected, says Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

He said Malaysia was ready to cooperate constructively and collectively with the world community in this effort.

“Malaysia wholeheartedly joins the world community in commemorating the International Day to Combat Islamophobia on March 15.

“This is not a day to be celebrated, but a day to enhance awareness among the global community on the need for action to combat Islamophobia,” he said in a Facebook post today.
