Kota Kinabalu: The Rotary Club of Kota Kinabalu at its March 20 meeting, awarded its Vocational Award to two “guardian angels” – Franciscan Sister Amalia @ Mary Dorothy binti Laudi (Sr Dorothy) and Mount Kinabalu climbing guide Sapinggi bin Ladsou.”
Vocational Service Director Rotarian Paul Foronda and Club President Edward J.C. Tan presented the certificates and cheques to Sr Dorothy and Sapinggi in recognition of their achieving Vocational Excellence of the highest order and to honour their outstanding contributions for significant advancement in their vocations.
Rotarian Paul Foronda said that: “The Rotary Vocational Service Excellence Award is designed to recognise an individual who surpasses expectations for exemplary vocational service.”
