Kota Kinabalu: Many of the poorest people in Sabah, especially in Tenom, are still not listed on the National Poverty Databank System or eKasih, said Tenom MP Riduan Rubin.
He said he had received complaints from eligible applicants that they had to wait years to get their eKasih application approved.
According to him, what is more disappointing is that some of their applications were rejected without reasons after waiting for years.
"I personally visited and met with these people (eKasih applicants) and found that they were very poor and needed help from the government urgently," said Riduan in a Parliament session yesterday, according to a statement.
