Ali Rosli Baru, 36, and Mohd Raqib Abdul Karim, 39, pleaded not guilty before Magistrate Lovely Natasha Charles to disposing of a stolen black Nissan Navara at Taman Nelly, Lorong Buah Pala, Inanam between 7am and 8am on March 8.
The duo allegedly committed the offence along with an accomplice still at large.
The charge under Section 414 of the Penal Code carries a jail term of up to seven years or fine or both, on conviction.
Inspector Kelvan Elson Main proposed bail at RM4,000 in two sureties and applied for them to report to the investigating officer once in two weeks.
Counsel Nelson Angang, representing both accused, applied for a lower bail on the grounds that they were jobless.
Lovely set April 28 for pre-trial case management and released the accused on a bail of RM1,500 in two sureties each.
In another court, a waiter was jailed 12 months for having a stolen handphone worth RM5,699.
