Kota Kinabalu: Employers are reminded of their responsibility to deport their foreign workers upon completion or termination of employment.“They should be repatriated upon completion of work, dismissal or when their work permits have expired or have been revoked, or when they have failed to obtain a clean bill of health,” said Deputy Chief of the Immigration Department’s Foreign Workers Section, Marilyn David Din.
She said these foreign workers are not allowed to marry a local resident or migrant worker who works in the country.
