The Chinese national claimed in a TikTok video she was extorted by a policeman after she failed to carry her passport with her.
PETALING JAYA: Police are probing a Chinese national’s claim that she was a victim of extortion by a policeman after she failed to carry her passport with her while travelling in Malaysia.

Acting Kuala Lumpur police chief Yahaya Othman said police had detected a viral TikTok video yesterday where the woman made the claim. The video depicted a policeman in uniform conducting checks.
