Kota Kinabalu: A total of 118 villages from seven mukims in Tambunan received financial contribution from the Parti Gagasan Rakyat Sabah (Gagasan Rakyat) in conjunction with the Harvest Festival.The donation was presented by Tambunan Gagasan Rakyat Division Chief Sponsor Dato’ Victor P Paut to the respective mukim leaders at his office in Kepayan Ridge, here, Monday. Victor also donated a laptop and a printer for the use of the Kg Lintuhun Tambunan Village Development and Security Committee (JPKK). “The donations are intended to aid in the success of the Harvest Festival, which will be organised by the seven mukims.

“We are aware that holding cultural or social programmes incurs significant costs.  We believe that our donation will assist to alleviate some of the constraints they face,” he said.

Victor said the donation is also his commitment to help and ensure the cultural programme could be implemented successfully.  He said it is also in line with the struggle and direction of the Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) Government in defending the people.
