Kota Kinabalu: MYAirline will increase its flights between KLIA2 and KKIA (Kota Kinabalu International Airport) from 21 flights per week to 28 flights from April 22, under its Raya Promo TERBAEK “Still Low Fares, All Month Long”.
Fares for the travel period from April 14 to May 1, 2023 start from RM229 for the KLIA2 - Kota Kinabalu route and RM239 for the KLIA2-Tawau route. For the new Kota Kinabalu-Tawau route, fare starts from RM89 seven times weekly.
There is priority boarding for the elderly, wheelchair users and pregnant women.
According to the briefing to the media by CEO Rayner Teo: “As of March 2023, MyAirline fleet consists of six Airbus A320-200, seat-configured for up to 180 passengers for short hauls.
“MYAirline secured 17 jets for the next 72 months. Target is 50 aircraft by end 2027 with the target of flying 21 million passengers. More than 80 per cent of MYAirline employees are experienced in the aviation industry and we aim to stimulate the travel industry through our ‘Service from the Heart’ focus on domestic network and later the Asean region by end of 2023.
“Our cabin crew uniform is gender-neutral. It’s tailor-made for maximum comfort, and it’s the first in Malaysia and the world with the hoodie,” Teo said.
